According Bollywood Celebs: Walking could be an excellent alternative instead of gym
We all wish to have a figure like our Bollywood celebs. And we often wondered what keeps celebrities fit all year round. At the same time, we believe that Bollywood celebs spend hours every day, and we justify our self that ‘I don’t have time to exercise every day for 2 hours like celebs do.’ But, let me tell you that even celebs have off days where they wouldn’t want to hit the gym or get up in the morning and go for their exercise session. Then, how do they continue to look toned and fit every time we see them on TV? Turns out, celebs mellow down on their off days. They prefer to walk.We are aware that it is a constant effort which helps us to achieve long-term goals. Taking a day off does not mean that you completely digress from your goal on that day, but rather take it slow. One way of doing this is by not indulging in vigorous activity and indulging in a relaxed activity like walking. Walking is a great way to effectively burn calories and ensure that your metabolism does not slow down.
Starlets like Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra follow a busy schedule all seven days and workout for a minimum of four days. On the days they do not have time to go to the gym or are in a remote location, the celebs are known to go for long walks so that they don’t miss out on their exercise for that day.
Not only the women but also the men like Shah Rukh Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Siddharth Malhotra and Akshay Kumar follow a similar regime. They tend to go for either walks or light jogs on the days they are unable to follow their normal fitness regime.
Walking is a favourite due to three main reasons
1. Walking is an effective exercise to keep your metabolism going. It may be slow in its approach, but walking can definitely make you feel more energetic after it is over. 2. Walking helps to burn calories since it falls under the cardio fitness regime. Walking will accelerate your weight loss and even help in maintaining weight later on. 3. Walking is easy and can be done anywhere you go. It’s free and does not require any special equipment.
