Engineers are either considered as car repairer or an electrician. For god sake, think once, there is no relation between an electrician and an IT engineer.
He would let you know about Softwares but not about wires or plugs. Our parents have a mindset, that if their child is an engineer than he might know how to repair a car or the route of the city etc. But, this false information got to be checked once.
