Protein Source for Vegetarians!!!
According to old myth we generally think that lot of protein comes from non- vegetarian food and contributes to a major part of a weight training individuals' diet. But if you are a vegetarian then you are cutting out eggs and chicken from your diet. Instead of having artificial protein its better to take things which are good for health for vegetarian lovers. There are alot of things but we will focus on import options only. Here we will tell you 3 vegetarian replacements that will help you hit your protein intake levels
Soybean Granules
I love Soybean. In fact Soya chap is one of my favourite dish. Let me tell you that this is a very good source of protein. 100 grams of soy comes with 52 grams of protein and 33 grams of carbohydrates. Granules in particular are easy to cook and can be mixed with a variety of dishes.
Lentils and Peanut Butter
The carbs-to-protein-to-fat ratio of the above two is pretty poor. Peanut butter provides very little protein and very high calories. Also, lentils/dals are high on carbs and not so much proteins, as usually assumed.
Peanuts
some people are allergic to peanuts. Those who are not they should know that peanut is also a great and health source of protein. 100 grams of peanuts packs around 26 grams of protein with 50 grams of fat and roughly 17 grams of carbohydrates. Distribute it evenly throughout the day.
