Anushka Sharma Cleans Versova Beach
After Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda, now Anushka Sharma too has joined the celebrities who now bring awareness about cleanliness. Recently she appeared in the new incarnation of Versova Beach in Mumbai. She worked hard to clean the beach. As an Ambassador of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Anushka has endorsed the cleaning campaign on the beach.
Anushka shared several photos on Friday, in which she seems to be cleaning Versova Beach.
Anushka wrote in the caption with the pictures, "An ounce of work (weight) is more important than a ton of preaching - Gandhi ji. Clean India ... cleanliness service. "
Let's say that earlier this month Anushka was invited by the Prime Minister for her government's 'Sanitary Hygiene Service' initiative. Apart from Anushka, Narendra Modi has invited Mohanlal from Malayalam films to become part of this campaign.
Amitabh Bachchan is an important face in 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan', which will impact the awareness to the common people to maintain cleanliness.
Urban Development Ministry has selected Anushka for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. They have been selected so that the message reached to more and more women. Along with Anushka, women living in rural areas become aware.
Seeing Anushka, other Mumbaikars also came forward to help in cleanliness work.
Prior to Anushka Sharma, many stars, including Amitabh Bachchan, Randeep Hooda, have cleaned Mumbai beaches. Anushka did the work of cleaning the beach, not alone, but with family and team members. Anushka is also bringing her clothes brand, which will be launched on October 3.
