Cutest Thing: Tortoise who Lost her Legs, Now Runs Twice as Fast as Earlier!
This 90 yr old tortoise named as Mrs. T Pembrook had his legs eaten by a rat. His owner Jude Ryder was worried about losing her sooner or later. But, only until Ryder's son Dale 37 being a mechanical engineer came up with prosthetic wheels from a model aircraft to be glued onto the tortoise’s shell, making her run twice as fast as she could. Mrs. T Pembrook who was actually in her 60’s was given as a gift to Dale by his father when he was 8.
“It was like fitting her with a turbocharger – she’s going double the speed she used to,” said Jude Ryder. “Mrs. T is still quite young for a tortoise. She could go on for another 50 years – all she needs is a new set of tyres every now and again.”
