Although the large dykes in this place have been preventing Amsterdam from getting flooded, but with the sea levels rising constantly, these dykes have also come under pressure. According to an estimate, Amsterdam still has 150 years before it fully goes under water and becomes yet another Atlantis.

The Italian town of Naples is one of those Mediterranean towns that travellers dream of visiting at least once.Situated at the Bay of Naples is Mount Vesuvius, a volcano which is no less than a ticking time bomb. It is believed to erupt every 100 years, and the last eruption was in 1944. So, the next eruption is expected to take place sometime in the mid-2000s. Boom and everything will disappear in dust.
