Apparently, the Mumbai to Lucknow train has been put on railway tracks to effectively deal with the heavy passenger traffic expected to board the trains this Holi. This year, the festival will be celebrated on Friday, March 2, all across India.

As per the schedule shared by the Indian Railways on their official site, the weekly Holi special Mumbai to Lucknow weekly special fare train service will be operated with train No. 02011/ 02012

Train Information

The train No. 02011 will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai every Tuesday on February 27 till March 6 at 14:20 hours. It will arrive at Charbagh Station in Lucknow at 13: 10 hours the following day. From Lucknow, the Lucknow – Mumbai CSMT Weekly SF Special Fare Special train No. 02012 will depart for Mumbai every Wednesday from February 28 to March 7 at 15:00 hours to arrive in Gorakhpur at 16:25 hours the next day. The special superfast trains that will run during Holi will have 13 AC 3 Tier coaches. Train number 02011 will halt at these stations — Kalyan Junction, Kasara, Igatpuri, Bhusaval Junction, Itarsi Junction, Bhopal Junction, Jhansi Junction, Orai, Kanpur Central before arriving at the Charbagh railhead in Lucknow. Train number 02012 will make a pit stop at stations like Kanpur Central, Orai, Jhansi Junction,Bhopal Junction, Itarsi Junction, Bhusaval Junction, Igatpuri and Kalyan Junction before making a final halt at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
