Heartbreaking: This 11-Year-Old from Nepal is Turning into Stone Due to a Rare Skin Condition!
Have you ever seen someone who's skin become as harder as stone? Unfortunately, a kid in Nepal is suffering from such a rarest of the rare condition which has made him turn into a stone!
We even can't imagine ourselves suffering from something like this or standing at his spot where the child is. It's even hard to see him in the video and imagine the pain and distressed he and his family members would be going through.
This is the story of an 11-year-old boy named, Ramesh Kumari from Baglung, Nepal, suffering from a rare skin condition called ichthyosis. His skin is getting transformed into stone hard while leaving his limbs into twisted form. This condition is causing the skin to peel and be replaced wth thick 'fish scales'.
Unfortunately, for such a rare skin condition there isn't any cure in science yet. But, somehow, daily skin regimen and medication can help to manage it, however, being from a poor family background, Ramesh's father is unable to seek him medical help. But because his video went viral on internet, fortunately, Sanjay Shrestha (a singer from Nepal) saw this video and decided to help this poor child. He asked some help from his friend British singer Joss Stone.
Now, Joss is helping the kid to raise money for his treatments, he even managed to raise up to £1,375 through his concerts in Kathmandu.
Right now the boy is under the care of Kathmandu medical college and a good thing is that he recovered from his prior condition to some extent.
