Being a Bollywood fan Karwa Chauth always reminds me of Yash raj films where our heroines get dressed in heavy outfit with expensive jewellery and wait for their heroes on a grand sets. Suddenly many background dancers dressed in perfect attire appears and start dancing. Really this festival has great impact on us through our movies. Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham
I still in Love with the lengha Of Kareena Which she wores in the Song of Bole Choodiyaan ....This Karan Johar's grand family saga had the popular song, Bole Choodiyaan filmed especially for this day. In the song, you can see Kajol fasting for her reel husband Shah Rukh Khan and humming the song along with her family. If nothing else, this song did give us a good number to dance during marriages and social functions. The elaborate sets, perfect costumes and a good choreography made this song an instant hit amongst the masses.
Dilwal Dhulhaniya Le Jayege
DDLJ is like an epic for true lovers. I think it is hard to forget Aditya Chopra's directorial debut! I am sure it is everyone's all-time favourite movie. Raj and Simran are still fresh in our minds and so is the Karwa Chauth scene. As the backdrop of the movie goes, Simran (Kajol) loves Raj (Shah Rukh) but is forced to marry Kuljeet (Parmeet Sethi). If marrying wasn't enough, she is forced to observe the Karwa Chauth fast for him. Being as determined as ever, she decides to keep fast for Raj instead. Pretending to faint, she manages to have Raj feed her.

I still remember I cried a lot by watching this Movie. What a beautiful movie. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam showed Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan falling madly in love with each other. Aishwarya Looks dam good in the Indian attire. She looks like the real Goddess of Beauty. The essence of this movie was so strong that this reel couple ended up dating each other in real life. The song sequence filmed on Karwa Chauth has Aishwarya fasting for her lover Salman Khan and not her husband Ajay Devgn. The song is picturised in a way where Aishwarya remembers Salman and dreams about breaking the fast with him.
Ishq Vishq
This Movie sets a trend where unmarried start keeping fast for their loved ones. Actually in the movie Amrita Rao, a college going girl keeps this Karwa Chauth fast for her lover Shahid Kapoor. The scene where she demonstrates her lover for him is such an awww... moment.
