If you are a literature lover and history buff too then Jaipur Literature festival has to be in your travel bucket list. Let me tell you that Jaipur Literature Festival 2018 is all set to lure visitors into the world of books. Hosted on the Diggi Palace grounds in Jaipur, the festival will start on January 25, 2018, and end on January 29, 2018. Touted as the “greatest lit show on earth,” the festival features prominent authors and publishers, alongside numerous visitors coming together to celebrate literature.
An Incredible Gathering of many Author
The festival features an incredible line-up of authors who have won the world over, noted Nobel laureates, Man Booker Prize winners, Pulitzer Prize winners, Padma Vibushan awardees, and Sahitya Akademi Award winners will be in attendance.

Some of the names that are expected to arrive at this year’s festival are Helen Fielding, author of Bridget Jones Diary; investigative reporter Michael Rezendes, known for being part of The Boston Globe’s Spotlight team; Amy Tan, author of The Joy Luck Club; 2006 Nobel Prize recipient Mohammad Yunus; and the former President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai. Eminent Indian names would include Indian film director Anurag Kashyap; BN Goswamy, Padma Bhushan awardee, Indian art critic and art historian; and Padma Vibhushan awardee Sonal Mansingh, among others, festival will see a host of speakers coming from various literary backgrounds, and then there is the majestic charm of Jaipur’s forts.
